Founder & CEO
Ross grew up in Minneapolis, MN and fell in love with fishing the first time his dad took him to lake Minnetonka. In 2012 Ross founded Mystery Tackle Box as a way to help anglers discover new fishing lures. Prior to founding MTB, Ross founded a number of other successful tech and media companies. In 2016 Ross established Catch Co. as the corporate brand for Mystery Tackle Box and other fishing projects the company is working on.
Andy spent more time riding through the hilly forest preserves of New England’s Merrimack Valley on his beloved Trek 850 mountain bike than with his fishing pole, but learned to love and appreciate the outdoors from his grandfather, Paul, who spent many years as a Forest Ranger with the United States Forest Service and his father, Mike, an avid birder. Prior to joining Catch Co., Andy was a management consultant with Bain & Co. and an investment analyst with Mousse Partners.
Co-Founder & CTO
Born and raised in southern California, Ryan grew up in the middle of surf and snow. At age seven, he caught his first fish but didn’t know how to reel it in. Instead, he just ran away from the water and dragged it onto the shore. Prior to joining MTB, Ryan helped co-found CraftJack with Ross, served as CTO there, and ran a boutique software development firm specializing in advertising and marketing analytics.
Tim grew up in the Great Lakes state of Michigan, though he was more likely to be skating on the lakes than fishing in them. Tim learned to fish as a kid from his grandfather, an avid hunter and angler. Prior to joining Catch Co., Tim was an operations leader at LCatterton and a management consultant at Mckinsey and Company.
Sr. Director of Business Development
From hiking in the Rockies to camping in the Adirondacks, the great outdoors have always been a part of Janet’s childhood in Edmonton, Canada and Buffalo, NY. Previous to joining Catch Co., she was a hardware buyer for Sears Holdings and a management consultant from Bain & Company.
Sr. Director of Digital Product
A DC native, Alex grew up hiking along the Potomac River and sailing in the Chesapeake Bay. Always eager to be outdoors, he rock climbs, slacklines, and has enthusiastically embraced fishing as his newest hobby. Alex is experienced in D2C Product Management and has a background in engineering. Before joining Catch Co., he was the Product Manager for Motorola’s MotoMaker product.
Sr. Director of Strategy & Analytics
Geoffrey grew up in Enid, OK spending as much time as possible fishing and hunting everywhere from northcentral Oklahoma to Texas hill country. Prior to joining Catch Co., he was a management consultant at Alvarez & Marsal with experience in eCommerce strategy, procurement, and process improvement across several industries. Geoffrey is still an avid outdoorsman and sits on the Chicago committee for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
